BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
This qualification applies to individuals working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who provide a broad range of technical knowledge and skills, and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.
The qualification applies to those working as supervisors, WHS personnel, and workers in other WHS-related roles who manage risks effectively, apply relevant WHS laws, and contribute to WHS within the workplace in known or changing contexts with established parameters.
Course structure
This qualification is comprised of 5 core (mandatory) units of competency and 5 elective units. Participants undertaking a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway can select the most appropriate 5 units from the list below. Those undertaking the delivered course will have set electives.

Recognition of Prior Learning - Enrol Anytime
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that involves assessment of an individual's relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and life learning).
Australian Consolidated Training offers RPL for all accredited courses. For this qualification, four (4) years experience in a work health and safety role is indicative of success. For those who do not have four years experience, please contact us to discuss your options.
